Bomb site for sale - development could be a challenge!

Several hidden plots of brownfield land overlooking Millbay docks are going up for auction on June 12th - with Plymouth Council admitting redeveloping the land will be “a challenge”.
The vacant parcels of land on the south side of Caroline Place are believed to be remnants of bombed properties and have been unused for years. Plymouth City Council is selling them off to see if local individuals or companies can put them to good use.
Councillor Chris Penberthy highlighted that this is part of the Council's ongoing review of assets to benefit the city. While redeveloping these challenging plots will be a task, a successful sale would generate capital for the Council, which can be reinvested into improving other council properties.
Given the location within the Stonehouse Peninsula Conservation Area, anyone interested in these sites should connect with the Local Planning Authority to discuss their proposals.
